Author of World War I history ‘The Sleepwalkers’ to visit Liberty Memorial in Kansas City
The author of an acclaimed book about the First World War will speak at a free event Sept. 17 at the National World War I Museum at Liberty Memorial.
Christopher Clark’s “The Sleepwalkers: How Europe Went to War in 1914,” was awarded the Los Angeles Times’ Book Prize and was recognized by The New York Times Book Review as one of the 10 best books of 2013.
Clark will speak at 6:30 p.m. as part of the Great War/Great Read project in conjunction with the Kansas City Public Library. Go to https://theworldwar.org/visit/upcoming-events for more information.
