Kansas City things to do: Boulevardia at a new venue, more Juneteenth celebrations
Boulevardia moves to the Crown Center area from the West Bottoms and Stockyards District for its seventh edition this weekend.
It will feature music by Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Dashboard Confessional and many others, plus beer, food, a makers market and a Ferris wheel. Boulevardia will run 4-11 p.m. June 17 and 11 a.m.-11 p.m. June 18. Tickets are $45 in advance and $55 at the gate. More information at boulevardia.com.
Also, Juneteenth will be celebrated June 18 on both sides of the state line with the JuneteenthKC Heritage Festival in the 18th and Vine District, noon-9 p.m., and the Juneteenth Celebration at Lewis and Clark Park at Kaw Point, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Information at juneteenth-kc.com and blakckmarqet.com.
