Kendrick Lamar is coming through Kansas City on ‘The Big Steppers’ tour. How to get tickets

Kendrick Lamar’s “The Big Steppers” Tour will head to the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City on Aug. 21.

The tour comes right after the highly anticipated release of Lamar’s fifth studio album, “Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers” on Friday.

The album, which is split into two parts and contains 18 songs, comes five years after Lamar’s Pulitzer Prize-winning album “DAMN.” and seven years after “To Pimp a Butterfly.”

Lamar’s last time in Kansas City was for the DAMN. Tour in 2017, when he performed with YG and D.R.A.M. at what was then the Sprint Center.

Joining this summer’s tour will be 21-year-old, Grammy-Award-winning rapper Baby Keem and LA-based rapper Tanna Leone. Both artists are featured on Lamar’s newest project. The 37-date tour will start in Oklahoma on July 19 and will make its way across the U.S., Europe and Australia.

How to get tickets

Tickets go on sale for the tour at noon May 20 . on oklama.com. Tickets for the Kansas City tour date will also be on sale on Ticketmaster.

The tour is sponsored by Amazon Music, Rotation and Cash App. There will be a special pre-sale for Cash App customers from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. May 19.

Pre-sale customers must use the first nine digits of their Cash Card on Ticketmaster. To download the Cash App and sign up for a cash card, visit cash.app/download.
