Things to do in Kansas City: Comic Jim Gaffigan, opening of Sistine Chapel exhibition
Jim Gaffigan will bring his family-focused and family-friendly stand-up comedy act to Kansas City.
The father of five and author of the bestselling “Dad Is Fat,” “Food: A Love Story” and other books has done six standup specials for Netflix, most recently “Comedy Monster” last year. He is visiting arenas nationwide with The Fun Tour, stopping at the T-Mobile Center at 7 p.m. April 1.

Also opening April 1: “Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel: The Exhibition” will come to life in the former Nike store on the Plaza at 211 Nichols Road.
