Things to do in Kansas City: Monster trucks, fishing expos and some pandemic theater
Unicorn Theatre’s first production of 2022 is a world premiere that will have fun with the pandemic — only this one was more than 700 years ago.
“Our Black Death: Plagues, Turnips, & Other Romantic Gestures” is a dark comedy about two peasants in mid-1300s England who take a chance on love as everyone around them dies.
It opens at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 19 and runs through Feb. 6. Tickets ($22-$44) are available at unicorntheatre.org.
