If you’ve ever thought it would be fun to be a part of the most successful reality romance series in television history, this will be your opportunity. Big 12 Women’s Basketball Tournament

While the men’s tournament was set to begin Wednesday at the Sprint Center, the Big 12 Conference women’s championships will return to Municipal Auditorium after an eight-year absence. But not much has changed in that time. Baylor was the team to beat in 2012 and, as the No. 1 seed, also will be in 2020. The Harriman-Jewell Series will present perhaps the world’s most ballyhooed pianist. The Times of London called Daniil Trifonov “without question the most astounding pianist of our age,” and The New York Times wrote, “Few artists have burst onto the classical music scene in recent years with the incandescence of the pianist Daniil Trifonov.” The 28-year-old Russian won a Grammy Award in 2018 for best instrumental solo album and was Musical America’s 2019 artist of the year. 816-415-5025. As a non-binary comedian, Rhea Butcher approaches the craft from a unique perspective. Butcher’s observational comedy focuses on vegetarianism, feminism, love of baseball and life as a lesbian. “Fiddler on the Roof”

One of the world’s most popular musicals of all time will return to Kansas City as part of the Broadway Series. “Fiddler on the Roof” enjoyed a revival on Broadway in 2015, 50 years after it won nine Tony Awards. With familiar hits such as “Tradition,” “Sunrise, Sunset” and “If I Were A Rich Man,” it tells the story of a Jewish family in Russia in the early 1900s. Kansas City St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Thousands of the area’s Irish and Irish wannabes will be out in force for the 48th edition of Kansas City’s largest annual parade and one of the nation’s biggest St. Patrick’s Day parades. NAIA Division I Men’s Basketball National Championship
Starts Wednesday, March 18, at Municipal Auditorium
The NAIA basketball tournament is one of Kansas City’s oldest sports traditions, dating to 1937. Aside from the years 1974-93 in Kemper Arena and 1994-2001 in Tulsa, the event has always been held in Municipal Auditorium. Defending champion Georgetown College of Kentucky will head the 32 small-college teams that will converge for this year’s tournament. Runs through March 24.
