Actors David Dastmalchian — a Shawnee Mission South graduate — and Ian Gomez as well as "American Idol" alum Chris Daughtry are the latest guests announced for Big Slick Celebrity Weekend 2018.

The three, revealed Tuesday by organizers, will join hometown hosts Rob Riggle, Paul Rudd, Jason Sudeikis, Eric Stonestreet and David Koechner on June 1 and 2 to raise money for the Cancer Center at Children’s Mercy hospital.

Each weekday through May 18, organizers will announce additional guests, for an expected total of 36, the most ever.

Dastmalchian, who got his big break with “The Dark Knight” in 2008, starred alongside Rudd in 2015’s Marvel action flick “Ant-Man” and will return for this summer's sequel. He’s also featured in Fox’s “Gotham,” CW’s “The Flash” and most recently in Showtime’s “Twin Peaks” reboot as a Las Vegas casino pit boss.

The three celebs have all participated in previous Big Slick weekends.

They will join CNN journalist Jake Tapper and actors Will Forte, Charlie Day and Adam Devine, who were announced on Monday.

Three big events are open to the public:

The celebrity softball game at 5 p.m. June 1 at Kauffman Stadium. Anyone with a ticket to the Royals vs. Oakland Athletics game at 7:15 p.m. that night can come early to watch the celebrity game beforehand. If you purchase through royals.com/bigslick, $5 goes to the charity.

The bowling tournament at Pinstripes in the Prairiefire shopping center in Overland Park on June 2. Tickets are $2,500 through bigslickkc.org. But there's no charge for the outdoor block party from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., which includes the celebrity red carpet arrival.

The party and charity auction at 7 p.m. June 2 at the Arvest Bank Theatre at the Midland. Last year's big-ticket items included visits to the sets of Rudd's "Ant-Man" sequel and Stonestreet's "Modern Family."

Tickets for the auction are sold out. But for $10, fans can enter to win VIP passes to be backstage and even onstage, plus air and hotel accommodations for two. Details on the sweepstakes are at bigslickkc.org.

Since its beginnings in 2010 as a charity poker tournament, Big Slick has raised over $6.2 million toward research, hospital amenities and medical equipment. Last year alone, Big Slick raised a record $1.75 million.

Reese Davis, 12, and his dad turned his wheelchair into an "Ant-Man" costume, complete with moving legs. At the Big Slick Celebrity Weekend red carpet, he got to show it off to Ant-Man himself, Paul Rudd.
