Watch an excited ‘Price Is Right’ contestant knock Drew Carey off his feet

An overexcited contestant named Sona nearly knocked “The Price is Right” host Drew Carey right off the stage during Wednesday’s episode.

It all began when Sona heard those three little words: “Come on down!”

And boy did she.

And so did Carey.

She rushed onto the stage and jumped onto Carey, grabbing his neck.

Clearly caught off guard, Carey fell to the ground. Sona did, too.

People in the audience screamed as Carey tumbled, and a giant “awwww” was let out as he fell on top of a row of lights and came perilously close to falling off the stage.

Carey was smiling as he popped back up onto his feet.

Panic briefly flashed on Sona’s face as she picked herself and saw what she had done. The camera panned to her red-faced companions in the audience.

“I’m so sorry,” Sona told Carey.

“I’m fine, fine,” he reassured her, the audience and probably himself.

George, the show’s announcer, seemed as shocked as the audience.

“Sona, do not break the host or our set, and then I will say, ‘How’d you like a brand new car?’”

Alas, Sona didn’t win the car but did take $3,000 home, according to CBS Los Angeles.

Neither Carey nor Sona was injured.
