Gillian Flynn, the KC-born author of “Gone Girl,” will serve as grand marshal of Tuesday’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade (starting at 11 a.m. at Broadway and Linwood and proceeding south to 43rd Street). How will she top that? She has a few plans.
