$50 for a playoff game? Ticket prices plunge for one of the coldest Chiefs games ever

The Kansas City Chiefs will play Saturday at home in the most important game of the season so far.

And ticket prices are as low as ever.

The Chiefs play against the Miami Dolphins at 7 p.m. at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in what could be one of the coldest games in franchise history. The National Weather Service is forecasting a low temperature Saturday night into Sunday morning of 8 degrees below zero, and a high temperature near 14 degrees. If you factor in the wind chill, it will feel like it is 23 degrees below zero.

If you are thinking about buying tickets, you might be able to get some for a bargain. Here’s how much they cost at five ticket sites as of Thursday.

Ticketmaster

The lowest ticket price for two seats at Arrowhead Stadium is $54 each in section 334. For one ticket, the lowest price is $60 in sections 329 and 307.

Verified Chiefs tickets costs $95 in multiple spots in sections 301-345, which is the upper level of the stadium. Verified Chiefs tickets in sections 101-145, which is the lower level of the stadium, cost $225.

If you wanted to sit in the lower level of the stadium, resale tickets cost as low as $100 for two seats or $150 for one seats.

All prices listed are before Ticketmaster’s services fees. Ticketmaster is the official ticket site of the NFL.

Tickets For Less

The Overland Park-based resale ticket site has single tickets available for $60 in section 307. Tickets in the upper level range from $60-165 on the site.

There are no service fees on Tickets For Less, but buyers will have to pay a $5.95 ticket delivery charge.

SeatGeek

Tickets on SeatGeek start as low as $50 before fees for seats in the upper level. There are 893 listings as of Thursday, with prices ranging from $50-169 for seats scattered around the upper and lower levels.

StubHub

Resale ticket site StubHub has tickets listed in the upper level for $50 eachfor two seats. A single ticket in the upper level costs as low as $51. The website has 4,025 ticket listings as of Thursday.

Starting prices for tickets in the lower level range between $79-206, depending on the section.

Each price listed on StubHub is before fees, but you can turn on “include estimated fees” in the filters tab under “price display options.”

VividSeats

Tickets on resale site VividSeats start as low as $49 per ticket for a pair of tickets in the upper level, and $50 for a single ticket.

Tickets in the lower level of the stadium start between $98-255 for a single ticket in a section. The prices fluctuate depending on the seat you choose and how many tickets you buy.

Prices listed are before VividSeats’ ticket fees.

If you do buy tickets, do not forget to buy a parking pass ahead of time. Parking passes cost $55 for cars and $130 for buses online.
