Kansas City will feel like it’s baking the next few days as heat and humidity will make afternoon temperatures feel like 100 degrees and above.
The weather will be mostly sunny Thursday, with temperatures reaching the low 90s. But when you factor in the humidity, temperatures will feel as hot as 102 degrees.
Storms are expected to develop over eastern Kansas and southern Iowa late Thursday afternoon. As the storms push through the Kansas City area, they could become strong to severe, bringing large hail and damaging winds.
The weather pattern is expected to repeat itself Friday and Saturday, with highs in the low to mid 90s. But because of the humidity, the afternoon temperatures will feel as hot as 98 degrees on Friday and 105 degrees Saturday afternoon.
