As Sporting Kansas City striker Dom Dwyer’s name swirled in a transfer offer made public this week, he more quietly received another MLS honor Monday.
Dwyer was named part of the MLS team of the week after he scored twice in the club’s 3-0 win against visiting Seattle on Sunday.
Dwyer has 10 goals this season, which leads the team. He has reached double digits in goals in three straight seasons.
On Sunday, he was credited with six shots attempted and three chances created.
