How do you properly celebrate scoring a cracking game-winning stoppage-time goal? If you’re Sporting Kansas City midfielder Benny Feilhaber, you get a few teammates together and “rock the baby.”

After the travel adventures this week, I was kind of expecting some sort of “Home Alone” celebration. Instead, Feilhaber likely was honoring the birth of his first child last month. Which is far more honorable.

Bravo, Benny. It was reminiscent of the celebration made popular by Brazilian Bebeto during the 1994 World Cup — one of the better goal celebrations of all time.

The goal itself wasn’t too shabby either.

Sporting Kansas City — despite a curious red card to Aurelien Collin and a myriad of travel issues won the game in Columbus 2-1. The win was Sporting KC’s fourth in a row on the road.
