Columbus Crew SC goalkeeper Steve Clark would no doubt like a do-over.

For a split second, Clark forgot he was a goalkeeper and tried to dribble around a talented midfielder. It went about as poorly as you’d expect.

Diego Valeri’s 27-second tap in was the fastest goal in MLS Cup history, beating out the previous record of five minutes.

Adding to the drama, Portland went up 2-0 six minutes later on a free header, and then Kei Kamara responded for the Crew before the half hour mark with his fourth goal in the playoffs.
