The Full 90

Supporting Kansas City with watch parties and a rally

Tonight, you could watch Sporting Kansas City on Fox Soccer (7 p.m. central) by yourself in the comfort of your own home. Or you could go out to one of (I believe) two watch parties in Kansas City. (Or you could be forced into finding a stream of dubious nature on the Internet like I will, as I'm in the soccer-backwoods of Pittsburgh, Pa.)

The first watch party, hosted by Nick Wright of 610 Sports, will be at the Member's Club at Livestrong Sporting Park. The doors open early at 3:30 p.m. The team will give away prizes, including playoff tickets. Parking will be in Lot C.

The second, I'm pretty sure, is the American Outlaws get-together at Johnny's Tavern in the Power and Light District.

Also this week, the KC Cauldron is hosting a mega rally at the KC Live! Stage in the Power and Light District on Tuesday, Nov. 1. It starts at 6:30 p.m. and will be hosted by 810 WHB's Nate Bukaty.

Admission to the rally is free and open to all ages. The doors will open at 6 p.m. There will be players and coaches on hand. There will also be prizes and giveaways, including a grand prize drawing for 2012 Sporting KC season tickets.

The rally will be 24 hours before KC's first ever playoff game at Livestrong Sporting Park on Wednesday at 7 p.m. The game will be on Fox Soccer.
