The Full 90

MatchDay #14: Off to the land of Rocky, cheese steaks and whatever

It’s a tale of two teams at different ends of the table: The Philadelphia Union are near the top-of-the Eastern Conference in its sophomore season while Sporting Kansas City still takes up space near the bottom of the conference.

Sporting Kansas City, fresh off 3 games in 8 days, starts another rough patch tonight in Philadelphia -- 3 games in 10 days. (Actually, as was pointed out in the comments: The U.S. Open Cup game next week makes it 4 in 10 days.)

If Sporting wants to keep climbing out the cellar, earning points against Philly has to be a top priority.

Kickoff is at 6:30 p.m. on KSMO-TV. It’ll be Callum Williams and well, I guess we’ll see who his partner is.

Here’s everything you wanted to know about this match but were afraid to google for yourself.
