The Full 90

MatchDay #12: Living on the Edge

I bet you thought Sporting Kansas City's road trip was over, huh? Well, that would be wrong. The first game at Livestrong Sporting Park was just yet another stop on KC's ridiculous journey. (KC doesn't have a "home stand" until July 6-9 against Colorado and Chivas.)

Today, the destination is Dallas. A team that couldn't be more different than Kansas City. Dallas is on a 9-game unbeaten streak (7 of them wins). They have a consistent lineup as well: 10 players have started at least 7 games in that stretch.

In that same span (KC have played seven games since Dallas' streak started on April 23), KC have only picked up three points (all in draws) and have just five players who started in at least five of those games.

Sporting sits on a knife's edge in this game. Already mired in last place (15 points behind New York in the Eastern Conference) KC really, really, really, really needs to find points. And find them soon.

Kickoff from Pizza Hut Park in Frisco, Texas, is at 6 p.m. (CT) on KSMO-TV.

Here is everything you need to know but were afraid to Google for yourself.
