I'm not an expert on Sporting Kansas City's new $200 million stadium. But, I've been there about 10 times to document, research, explore and sometimes gasp in awe. So, over the next few days to get you pumped/ready for the grand opening, I'm going to rundown just a few of my favorite features that I think you'll also like at the new stadium.
On Friday, I want to hear from you what your favorite features are.
Today, it's all about beer.
Beer and soccer are a natural pair. Well, beer and all sports usually go hand-in-hand. At Livestrong Park, the beer will flow just about as fast as you can order it.

Thanks to Niagra Dispensing's Exactap, certain areas of the stadium will be able to pour a pint in 4 seconds and can drain a keg in 15 minutes. (Of course, there are probably members of the Cauldron capable of achieving this feat without use of modern science.)
The Exactap is in use at several big European venues: Stamford Bridge, Allianz Arena, Goodison Park, Villa Park and the Olympic Stadium in Germany. The technology is also in use at Fenway Park, Target Field, Comerica Park and Busch Stadium among others in the United States.
The tap can be pre-programmed to distribute uniform foam and not limit waste. It also has a 5 out of 5 approval rating from Guinness.
There will be several beers to choose from at the stadium (including, the team tells me, several Guinness taps). Budweiser, a founding partner of the stadium, will be the only beer supplier with signs around the park.
The only local brew available at the park will be Drop Kick Ale, made by the Weston Brewing Company.
Here is the full roster of beer available on tap at Livestrong Sporting Park:
Drop Kick Ale
The beers available in bottles:
Leinenkugel Summer Shandy
Leinenkugel Honey Weiss
Leinenkugel Sunset Wheat
