Sporting Kansas City dropped a new season-ticket package on the supporters and made more tickets to the Gold Cup available.
The Take Ten package includes the inaugural June 9 game against the Chicago Fire and the friendly against Newcastle United on July 20. The packages start at $200 per person. The Take Ten ticket packages and full season ticket packages can be purchased either by visiting SportingKC.com or by calling the Sporting Kansas City ticket office at 1-888-4KC-GOAL.
Sporting Kansas City also announced Friday the release of an additional allotment of tickets to the 2011 CONCACAF Gold Cup™ doubleheader to be played on at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park. The doubleheader, which will feature the United States Men's National Team, will be played on June 14th, 2011. The first match, between Panama and Canada, will be played at 6 p.m. CT, followed by the United States against Guadeloupe at 8 p.m. CT. Fans can purchase tickets by visiting SportingKC.com or by calling the Sporting Kansas City ticket office at 1-888-4KC-GOAL.
Firehouse Subs deal... changes
While the deal is essentially in place (free subs after a Chicago Fire loss), you will have to print out a coupon from Sporting KC's Facebook page to redeem the free sub. And you can only get it between 4-7 p.m.
Gosh, who didn't see this coming? After three days now of giving out free subs to Sporting KC fans, Firehouse is now trying to stop the flow of free by placing some restrictions on the offer.
I don't blame Firehouse either. They didn't know that Chicago would turn into the Pittsburgh Pirates after starting this deal.
New England gets a shirt sponsor
Starting tomorrow, the Revolution will have a shirt sponsor:
It is the first sponsor in New England's 16-year history.
When will Kansas City get a kit sponsor? I seem to remember someone within the Sporting organization saying a shirt sponsor was in the works.
