Sporting Kansas City’s 3-month road trip moves north for the second leg with a quick jaunt to Chicago. This will be the home opener for the Fire, who are fresh off a 1-1 draw with Dallas.
Sporting Kansas City will be traveling with a relatively inexperienced (especially in MLS terms) team. Regulars Kei Kamara (international leave), Shavar Thomas (international leave), Ryan Smith (injured) and Michael Harrington (injured) won’t be available.
However, they shall not want for road support, as 300 fans are traveling from Kansas City for this game; all will be looking not only for points, but to reverse about 12 years of negative history in the Windy City. (I will be in attendance, but will not be documenting this trip. It’s a three-day vacation for this blogger.)
Kickoff is at 3 p.m. in Chicago. The game will be broadcast locally on KSMO-TV and nationally on Telefutura.WHERE CAN I FIND KSMO-TV?
