“Milos is a creative midfielder that can give the final pass and find the back of the net,” Sporting Kansas City Manager Peter Vermes said. “These qualities will be very valuable for us throughout the upcoming season.”
Stojčev, who will occupy an international roster spot, launched his career as a youth with the former European champions Red Star Belgrade, one of the most popular and successful clubs in Serbia. By 2006, he debuted for FK Beanija of the Serbian SuperLiga at age 19 and was one of several young players to help lead the team to a fourth place finish and qualification for the 2007-08 UEFA Cup.
We'll have more on this later this evening.
