Sporting News: KC opts for Euro flavor with new announcer

The team officially unveiled something we reported last week: British announcer Callum Williams will join Sporting Kansas City this year as its brand new play-by-play announcer. Williams has been with BBC Radio covering the sport throughout the country.

He will join the team next week and will be in the booth for the first game of the season on March 19 (that's just 9 days!) against Chivas USA. The team's blog

has an audio greeting from him,

which I highly advise you check out.
