Sporting Kansas City will play friendlies against five MLS clubs and Phoenix-based PDL team during the preseason. All games will be played in Arizona.
The first game will be against Columbus on Feb. 5 (a Saturday) with an intra-squad game on Feb. 9 before facing reigning MLS Cup champions Colorado on Feb. 12 (also a Saturday). To close out their first two-week training stint in Arizona, KC will play Houston Feb. 15 before traveling back to KC.

The second leg of preseason will begin Feb. 21 in Arizona and will see the team play expansion Portland Timbers on Feb. 26 in Phoenix and then traveling to Tuscon to face the Arizona Sahuaros of the NPSL on March 4 and the New York Red Bulls on March 5.
The first game of the MLS season is March 19 against Chivas USA.
