Headed out to see the Kansas City Wizards attempt to stave-off playoff elimination against Seattle this Saturday? Give yourself plenty of time to get there.
The Wizards game starts at 7:30 p.m. at CommunityAmerica Ballpark. Prior to that, there will be a barbecue contest in the CAB's parking lot and the team is hosting five local soccer games on the pitch. It's also "Kicks for Canines" night (wherein fans who purchase a special ticket package can bring their dogs into a reserved section of the stadium)

"College Night" (Kansas students can get a $20 ticket that includes bleacher ticket, ride to/from the game, and a hot dog and soda). If that weren't enough, there's also a Groupon ticket package sure to bring in a few extra fans.
The team is really pulling out all the stops to ensure a capacity crowd on Saturday.
If all of this wasn't enough... The Legends area will be hosting a charity 5K on Saturday morning that will close several streets in the area. Fans arriving early (really early) are advised to access the stadium from the west side as State Avenue, 110th Street and Stadium will all be open. Access to the stadium from the east of the stadium will be unavailable from 6:30 a.m. until 11 a.m.
Ok, I'm kinda exhausted just thinking about this.
