Kansas City striker Kei Kamara's gorgeous first goal against Chivas USA has been nominated for the AT MLS Goal of the Week.
The competition is pretty tough. You've got Dwayne De Rosario's rocket-launched free-kick, a spectacular singular effort by Dallas' Eric Alexander, Blaise N'Kufo's final piece to his hat trick and Landon Donovan's looping header.
I say this in the most completely unbiased way possible: Kamara's goal is better than all of the others.**I have a Kamara theory I'd like to drop on you: If the degree of difficulty is greater than 7, Kamara will score more than 80% of the time; if the degree of difficulty is less than 3, he will miss more often than not. This goal and blast against Philadelphia were easily an 8 and a 7, respectively, on the degree of difficulty scale. The "miss" against Los Angeles was a -6.
