Video: Henry's celebration leaves Hartman writhing in pain

During last night's FC Dallas-New York Red Bulls game, Thierry Henry attempted to celebrate a goal by his team by kicking the ball into the back of the net. Trouble is, Dallas 'keeper Kevin Hartman's foot was in the way.

Hartman went down, writhing in pain. It looks like he has an

MCL injury according to 3rd Degree.

After the incident, Henry said he was just trying to bash the ball into the net like he always does and that there was nothing malicious. Now, it's hard to read intent on a play like this, but I've watched this like the Zapruder film a few times. I can't, for the life of me, figure out how in the world a guy with vision like Henry DIDN'T see Hartman standing there. It's... unfathomable.

It's uncertain how long the former Wizards goalkeeper will be out. Which is a shame. Hartman was having an MLS MVP-esque season.

Here's video of the "incident."
