When Bob Bradley announces his preliminary roster tomorrow, it will likely answer a few questions. Notably: Will Edson Buddle/Herculez Gomez factor in his plans? Is Charlie Davies healthy? Is Oguchi Onyewu? Who is Alejandro Bedoya? And who will be the third goalkeeper?
But here's one that I'd like to ask (and I'm sure KC fans might want to weigh in on): Should Jimmy Conrad get a call up?

(Every nation must submit it's preliminary 30-man World Cup roster tomorrow. The Wizards are likely to be one of the least-affected teams in MLS, with Roger Espinoza [Honduras] the only real certain call-up.)
I think, for the preliminary roster, yes. With the best defender, Oguchi Onyewu, injured and the the most talented young defenders (Clarence Goodson, Chad Marshall) either too green or too injured, it would only make sense to at least invite a World Cup veteran with good chemistry to train with the team.
Worst-case scenario? He pushes Goodson in training sessions, gets a last hurrah with America's finest and comes back to KC rested. Best-case scenario? He makes the 23-man roster and lets Bradley rest easier at night knowing he's got more security along the backline with Goodson AND Conrad in reserve.
