The Full 90

Extra Time: 03.23.10 | All the news that's left to report

Are the Wizards really done making roster moves? Is the MLS going to expand ... again? Why don't any of the national commentators like us in Kansas City? Do you like movies about gladiators? We'll try to find the answers to all of those questions ... well, maybe not the last one (it's really more of a personal preference).More after the jump.

Wrapping up a days worth of news, links, rumors and rampant speculation.

The Wizards

· The Wizards

waived forward Michael Kraus Tuesday

, but Thad at the Back Post has learned that forward Sunil Chhetri is headed to (or is already in) Kansas City. (His source is really solid.) If true, who goes? He'll take an international roster spot and put the team at 25 players. [

The Back Post

]· is reporting that the Chhetri deal is done and is pending a medical and P-1 visa approval. They've got a quote from Peter Vermes and everything. He's the third Indian to play professional outside of India. Something will have to give roster-wise. Chhetri will take an international roster spot (which, unless they've got them lying around the office, we can't have that many of) and put us at 25 players on the roster. [

]· James at is starting to feel like KC is under siege from the national media, who keep picking the Wizards to finish at the bottom of the East. Maybe the team can ride a little "They Don't Believe In Us" wave. [

]· Mike at Down The Byline also takes aim at the national prognosticators for deriding a team they know nothing about. I'm starting to think a "They Don't Believe In Us" blogger trifecta is now in play. [

Down The Byline

]· An interview with former Wizard Herculez Gomez. Should he rate for the US World Cup squad? (Nods head in affirmation.) [

]· If you missed them, the CBA details. [

Midwestern Soccer

· Michael Thomas, of Olathe and St. Thomas Aquinas, was in the Starting XI this week for Halmstads BK in Sweden and played 90 minutes. He probably wishes he could've sat this one out... they lost 6-0 to Elfsborg. [

Soccer Way

Around the MLS

· During a teleconference Tuesday, MLS commissioner Don Garber surprised no one when he revealed that Montreal would be preparing an expansion bid in 2010. But he did surprise some when he said a 20th MLS franchise could be in the south (specifically Atlanta). [

WV Hooligan

]· Garber had some pretty harsh words for the politicians in DC who "can't get out of their own way" and get Handball United a new stadium. I'm absolutely shocked. Worthless politicians in DC? Pshaw. [

Soccer Insider

]· Houston is close to getting a new stadium. ... Great, if Houston gets a new stadium, then everyone's going to want one too. [

The Spoiler

One more thing...

The national media don't believe in the Kansas City Wizards. There... now the "They Don't Believe In Us" blogger trifecta is on.
