The U.S. Under-17 Women's National squad had a nice little weekend in the CONCACAF U-17 Women's Championship, thrashing Haiti 9-0* on March 10, demolishing the Cayman Islands 13-0 on March 12 and ravaging Costa Rica 10-0 yesterday. (I had to hit the thesaurus pretty hard that last sentence.)
*A touching moment took place after the game game, when both teams came together for a group hug that lasted 90 seconds. Both teams left the field in tears.
Right smack dab in the middle of these victories is Liberty's own Kaysie Clark. The highschooler had a goal and eight assists over the three games.
The team will play either Mexico or Canada in the semi-finals on March 18.
