Sporting Kansas City is riding high after a 1-0 win over the Seattle Sounders — and a pivotal (but early) five-game stretch that saw KC snag 11 of 15 possible points from some of Major League Soccer’s top clubs.

In this week’s Sporting KC episode of Talkin’ Touches, Andy Edwards (NBC’s Pro Soccer Talk) and Charles Gooch (The Star’s Full 90 blog) discuss SKC’s 1-0 victory over the Sounders, marvel at how quickly (and drastically) the 2015 season has turned around, size up the roster ahead of the summer transfer window, and have a little fun with Periscope to close out the show. You can listen to it here:

Week 14 of the 2015 MLS season is in the books, and Andy and Charles are sure of one thing: Toronto FC are finally for real following their 2-1 victory over D.C. United. The guys also discuss Columbus Crew SC 1-2 Montreal Impact; Houston Dynamo 4-2 New York Red Bulls; and Portland Timbers 2-0 New England Revolution. There's also a matter of a new stadium in D.C., and a bit of dubious history made by the Chicago Fire over the weekend. Listen to the MLS-mostly episode of the podcast here:

Special thanks to the excellent band Deco Auto for letting us use the songs “One of a Million,” “Turning Down” and “Deco Stomp.” Listen to more of their music here.
