Fresh off the podcast truck: Two brand new episodes delving into Sporting Kansas City’s two-game week and the upside-down world of Major League Soccer.

In episode one, Andy Edwards and Charles Gooch talk all things Kansas City. Is the club overachieving or underachieving after a 4-2 win over New England and a gritty road draw with the Sounders? Is Peter Vermes a bit hypocritical for parking the bus in Seattle? Is Tim Melia the real dealia? You’ll have to listen to find out.

In the second episode, Andy and Charles dig in the big topics around the league — where results continue to evade logic. Like league leading FC Dallas dropping points to bottom-dwelling Montreal. Or the once hapless Philadelphia Union pulling off a shocking 2-0 win over the New York Red Bulls. Also on the table: Is Toronto finally (like, really) taking a step?

Special thanks to the excellent band Deco Auto for letting us use the songs “One of a Million,” “Turning Down” and “Deco Stomp.” Listen to more of their music here.
