With week 5 in the books, the podcast duo of Charles Gooch (The Full 90) and Andy Edwards (NBC Sports Pro Soccer Talk) review an exciting Sporting Kansas City victory, the return of the Major League Soccer’s international superstars and all that was good (and maybe bad) around the league.

Part 1 deals with Sporting Kansas City’s thrilling 3-2 win over the Philadelphia Union at Sporting Park and what the victory means for KC’s still-present offensive struggles. Also: How can KC find help for Dom Dwyer in attack? And why is Marcel De Jong currently favored over Seth Sinovic?

In Part 2, Andy and Charles explore the always exciting Vancouver Whitecaps’ 2-0 victory over defending champs Los Angeles, #TissueGate in Portland, something positive finally happening in Chicago and much, much more.

Special thanks to the excellent band Deco Auto for letting us use the songs “One of a Million,” “Turning Down” and “Deco Stomp.” Listen to more of their music here.
