Sporting Kansas City forward Dom Dwyer has developed into something of a social media guru over the past two years — Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, you name it.
So it seems fitting that Dwyer used social media for his biggest announcement yet:
Dwyer and U.S. women's national team star Sydney Leroux announced via Twitter late Saturday that they tied the knot last month.

The couple announced late last year that they were dating.
Dwyer said Friday that he closed on a new house in Kansas City this week, and they released a joint statement exclusively to People.com that they plan to live together in Kansas City.
Dwyer, 24, signed a multi-year extension with Sporting KC over the offseason after breaking the franchise record with 22 goals in 2014.
Leroux, 24, plays for Seattle Reign FC in the National Women's Soccer League and is slated to play in the women's World Cup this summer.
