On Saturday, the Chiefs worked on rushing their field-goal unit on the field at the end of the first half or at the end of the game.

Twice, quarterback Alex Smith stopped the clock with an incomplete pass, and rookie kicker Cairo Santos and the field-goal team came onto the field for a 50-yard plus tries.

On one occasion, punter-holder Dustin Colquitt lined up behind center, took the snap and threw the ball into the ground, stopping the clock.

Santos made two of the three field goal attempts.
