Punter Dustin Colquitt and linebacker Derrick Johnson are the Chiefs’ elder statesmen, attending their 10th training camp. The occasion was not lost on Johnson, the club’s first-round pick in 2005, and Colquitt, a third-rounder.

“Derrick Johnson looked at me and said, ‘We were five years in River Falls (Wis.) and now five years here,” Colquitt said. “You sit back and think, this has been a great time for us. River Falls was awesome. This is a great town. They open up the doors and roll the red carpet out for us.”
