The Chiefs put on a crisp, entertaining practice for the fans at Missouri Western on the first day of training camp Thursday.
The club practiced for about 90 minutes, mostly with the first and second teams facing each other in 11 vs. 11 work without pads.
“We’ll have again shells and helmet practice (on Friday) and take that next step of ramping it up and get ready for our full-padded practice the following day,” coach Andy Reid said.
“The fans were great. These guys had a hard workout this morning, and I know they feed off the fans. I expect to see them again Friday.”
