The Chiefs announced the signings of inside linebacker Josh Mauga and offensive tackle Ryan Harris on Thursday morning and waived linebacker DeRon Furr and placing fullback James Baker on reserve/DNP.

Mauga, a five-year veteran, appeared in 29 games with the New York Jets during 2010-12. Harris, a seven-year veteran, spent last year at Houston, appearing in 16 games with three starts.

Furr, a college free agent from Fort Valley State, has been unable to practice because of a back injury; Baker, a college free agent from Idaho, missed the three-day rookie camp because of personal reasons.
