The Chiefs held their second practice of training camp Tuesday at Missouri Western.
Here are a few notes and observations:
*Left tackle Eric Fisher reported to camp today and participated in drills and team periods.
*Fisher looks a little heavier than he did last year. We’ll see if it helps when the pads come on.

*Linebacker DeRon Furr was not present at practice today. Fullback James Baker also missed practice for the second straight day.
*Seven on seven started a bit rough, as quarterback Alex Smith and the offense opened the period with three straight incompletions. Chase Daniel also misfired on his first three passes, though they were a bit uglier. One was thrown behind a receiver and another was thrown into coverage.
*Tyler Bray completed all four of his passes in the first seven-on-seven period.
*The defensive backs fared well in this period, forcing three coverage sacks. Considering there’s no pressure on the quarterback, that’s a good job.
*Smith bounced back the second time through, completing four passes in five reps. One was a gorgeous throw to tight end Demetrius Harris in which Smith threaded the needle over the middle.
*There were fewer drops today than there were Monday, when it seems like every receiver had butterfingers.
*During the final team portion, Smith again opened with three straight incompletions before he found Harris over the middle, who made a fingertip catch. Harris wasn’t flawless, though — a few plays later he seemed to short arm a high pass over the middle. He was in traffic, but he could have gotten to it. He also failed to come up with a fade in the end zone against a smaller defender later on.
*Bray needs to keep working on his accuracy. He tried to put some touch on a deep corner route and overshot his receiver by several yards.
*Slot receiver Weston Dressler started getting involved toward the end of the period, catching three passes on quick routes.
*Tight end Travis Kelce made the catch of the day during goal line, as he caught a fade in the end zone over 6-foot-2 rookie safety Daniel Sorensen.
*Receiver Jerrell Jackson also caught a fade for a touchdown from Bray.
