It appears Chiefs receiver Dwayne Bowe is working out with Larry Fitzgerald in preparation for the 2014 season.

According to USA Today, Bowe is currently in Minnesota with the star Cardinals receiver in their final workouts before training camp begins next week.

The rest of the story talks about Bowe’s weight loss and the other steps he’s taken be in better physical condition, which I covered here a month ago and Sam Mellinger covered here two months ago.

Bowe, 29, is coming off one of his worst professional seasons and is entering the second year of a five-year, $56 million contract. The Chiefs did little to upgrade their receiving corps this offseason, so any improvement will likely have to come from returnees like Bowe.
