The Chiefs signed receiver Kashif Moore to a reserve-futures deal on Wednesday.

Moore, who is listed at 5 feet 9 and 180 pounds, played college ball at Connecticut.

Moore, 27, has not played in an NFL game. He’s spent time with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Cincinnati Bengals, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts and San Diego Chargers.

Reserve-futures contracts begin when the new league year opens in March and don’t count against teams’ current roster limits.

Only players who are not on an NFL team’s active roster at the conclusion of the regular season are eligible for these contracts.
