The Chiefs will be without both Pro Bowl linebackers for Sunday’s game against the Browns at Arrowhead Stadium.

Tamba Hali, who suffered a broken finger last week against the Ravens, is on the inactive list along with Justin Houston. Houston will miss his fourth game with a hyperextended knee.

Earlier last week, there was hope Hali could play against the Browns. He was listed as questionable on Friday.

Hali and Houston were among the five Chiefs named to the Pro Bowl last week.

Also inactive for the Chiefs: Safety Husain Abdullah, wide receiver De’Anthony Thomas, quarterback Aaron Murray and defensive lineman David King and Rakeem Nunez-Roches.

Frank Zombo will start for Hali, and Dee Ford will make his fourth start in place of Houston.

For the Browns, wide receiver Dwayne Bowe is active. The Chiefs’ leader in career receptions among wide receivers, has appeared in six games in his first season with the Browns.
