One day the Pro Bowl roster, the next named AFC Defensive Player of the Week. It’s been a good stretch for Chiefs rookie cornerback Marcus Peters.

In the Chiefs’ 34-14 victory over the Ravens on Sunday at Baltimore, Peters collected two interceptions off quarterback Jimmy Clausen and returned the first one 90 yards for a touchdown.

Both picks came in the fourth quarter. The touchdown was his second of the season. Peters has seven interceptions, tied for second in the NFL and one behind Bengals safety Reggie Nelson.

Peters, the 18th overall draft selection from Washington, was one of five Chiefs named to the Pro Bowl on Monday.
