Chiefs cornerback Marcus Peters had a wild day in his return to Oakland, complete with a 58-yard interception return. The Chiefs won 34-20. And while Peters also left the game in fourth quarter because of an injury, coach Andy Reid said Monday it was just a calf cramp.
“That was it,” Reid said.
Reid also said starting left guard Jeff Allen tried to play through an ankle injury, but was replaced in the first half by Donald Stephenson.
“It looked like the first time he really pushed off and exploded on it, where he had to change direction, it got him,” Reid said of Allen.
