Linebacker Justin Houston is out for Sunday’s game against the Raiders with a knee injury, opening the door for Dee Ford to make his first NFL start.

Ford, the 23rd overall pick in the 2014 draft from Auburn, missed the previous two games with a back injury.

Also inactive for the Chiefs: Center Mitch Morse, wide receiver De’Anthony Thomas, defensive lineman Allen Bailey, safety Husain Abdullah and defensive tackle David King.

Morse had taken every snap at center this season until suffering a concussion last week.

For the Raiders, center Rodney Hudson, the former Chief, is inactive.
