Donnie Avery and Chris Owens will play for Chiefs against Broncos

The Chiefs will have receiver Donnie Avery and cornerback Chris Owens are their disposal tonight against the Broncos.

Avery, who has missed the last seven games with a groin injury, and Owens, who has missed the last two games with a knee injury, are listed among the 46 active Chiefs for the game.

The Chiefs’ seven inactive players are quarterback Aaron Murray, cornerback Jamell Fleming, center Eric Kush, guard Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, receiver Junior Hemingway, tight end Phillip Supernaw and defensive lineman Nick Williams.

The Broncos, meanwhile, will be without a pair of stars in cornerback Aqib Talib and tight end Julius Thomas. Denver’s other five inactives are running back Ronnie Hillman, running back Montee Ball, cornerback Kayvon Webster, tackle Chris Clark and tackle Mike Schofield.
