Chiefs receiver De’Anthony Thomas had his first touchdown catch of his career in the first half with a 19-yard catch and run from quarterback Alex Smith on a bubble screen.
Afterward, he thanked receivers Chris Conley and Jeremy Maclin for their blocking.
“Great blocks from Mac and Chris,” Thomas said. “Just a great call from Alex.”
Colquitt has a solid game
Punter Dustin Colquitt dropped four punts inside the 20, tying his season high in that category, matching his mark from week one in Houston.
▪ Bears kicker Robbie Gould because his team’s all-time leading scorer with a third quarter field goal, surpassing Kevin Butler’s mark of 1,116 points. Gould finished the game with six points, bringing his career total to 1,118.
