When Chris Conley caught a 15-yard touchdown pass from Chase Daniel in the second quarter of the Chiefs’ preseason game against the Rams on Thursday, it was another reason to believe the Chiefs won’t go another season without a scoring reception from a wide receiver.
Conley, the rookie from Georgia, became the fifth different wide receiver to catch a touchdown pass in the preseason. Jeremy Maclin, Fred Williams, Da’Ron Brown and Frankie Hammond each had been on the receiving end of a scoring pass.
