Justin Houston came close to setting the NFL sack record last season with 22, but he hadn’t recorded one this preseason, until Friday.

With Tennessee facing third and 6 from the Chiefs’ 8, Marcus Mariota was flushed to the right. Houston shed his block and began pursuit. Before Mariota could throw it away or reach the sideline, Houston ran him down for an 8-yard loss.

The Titans’ best drive to that point ended in a field goal.
