Chiefs part ways with director of pro personnel Ray Farmer

The Chiefs today said goodbye to Ray Farmer, their director of pro personnel since 2006. Farmer took the job as assistant general manager for the Cleveland Browns.

Farmer is known around the league as a sound scout. He will no doubt be a general manager for some team someday. But with general manager John Dorsey, coach Andy Reid and assistant general manager Joel Collier, the Chiefs have plenty of veteran talent assessors to make up for the loss of Farmer.
