The Chiefs released the list of players who aren’t expected to play in Saturday night’s preseason opener against the Arizona Cardinals.

They are: linebacker Josh Mauga (heel), nose tackle Dontari Poe (back), quarterback Tyler Bray (knee), linebacker James-Michael Johnson (calf), linebacker D.J. Alexander (high ankle sprain), center/tackle Garrett Frye (knee), receiver Junior Hemingway (hip) and receiver Jeret Smith (hamstring).

That leaves a handful of injured players who weren’t listed and could theoretically be available Saturday night, including defensive end Mike Catapano (groin), receiver Albert Wilson (throat illness), outside linebacker Dee Ford (concussion) and defensive end Nick Williams (concussion).
